Clark University is set to host a panel on the conflict in Syria.

The panel, titled “Documenting Mass Crimes and Envisioning Justice for Syrians,” will be held on Thursday, October 17 at 4:30 p.m.

It is free and open to the public.

The Panel

The panel will feature Radwan Ziadeh from the United States Institute of Peace, Ora Szekely from Clark University and Noha Aboueldahab from the Brookings Institute.

The panelists will explain the key drivers of the conflicts and feature the efforts of local human rights organizations to document the atrocities committed.

Discussion will focus on the fact-finding methods the organizations use now to lay the groundwork for transitional justice initiatives in the future.
