Worcester Police Investigating Serious Penn Ave Stabbing

A 32-year-old male was taken to the hospital after suffering from multiple stab wounds in an incident that occurred on Wednesday, January 13. The injuries are serious but not life threatening. 

The Incident 

At approximately 12:39 p.m., Worcester Police responded to the area of 8 Penn Ave, near the Grafton Hill Package Store, for a report of a stabbing. 

Upon arrival, the officers met the male victim who was conscious and alert. 

Police Detectives responded to the scene but based on the victim's account as to what happened inside the apartment, compared to the evidence detectives have collected, there are inconsistencies as to what actually happened. 

The Investigators are continuing to work on the motive and attempting to locate witnesses.
