Worcester Police Catch Suspects Responsible for Crystal Park Murder

Tuesday, October 06, 2015

Worcester Police have arrested two suspects responsible for the Saturday night murder of 33-year-old Carlos Estrada of Worcester at Crystal Park.

As GoLocalWorcester reported, just after 11 PM on Saturday, Worcester Police responded to a stabbing at the entrance of Crystal Park. Police found Estrada lying on the sidewalk and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a stab wound.

Estrada died early Sunday morning from his injuries.

During the investigation, WPD detectives learned the identities of a male and female who were fighting with Estrada when he was stabbed. As a result, WPD arrested Erika Mullen, 31-years-old, of 26 Sever Street on Sunday evening. Mullen was charged with Accessory after the Fact of Murder and Misleading a Police Investigation.

On Monday morning, shortly after 7 AM, police arrested Mr. Anthony Chambers at 48 Barclay Street, Worcester. Chambers was charged with Murder.

Chambers and Mullen will be arraigned today at the Worcester County District Courthouse. The investigation is ongoing.
