Five Worcester Police Officers to Be Promoted During Ceremony at City Hall

City Manager Edward Augustus and Deputy Police Chief Steven Sargent will preside over the ceremony. During the ceremony, the officers will take their oaths before family members and colleagues.
Sergeants being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant:
- Sgt. Daniel Dowd will be promoted to lieutenant and pinned by his father, retired police officer John Dowd Sr.
- Sgt. Daniel Fallon will be promoted to lieutenant and pinned by his wife, Colleen.
Officers being promoted to the rank of Sergeant:
- Officer John Bossolt will be promoted to sergeant and pinned by his son, Max and daughter, Audrey.
- Officer James Guittar will be promoted to sergeant and pinned by his wife, Christina.
- Officer Ryan Stone will be promoted to sergeant and pinned by his wife, Theresa.
The ceremony will take place at 4 PM in City Hall's Ester Howland Chambers.
