Now in New England, Bennett will join Rob Gronkowski in what the Patriots hope will be a dynamic tight end combination.
As training camp is set to begin on Thursday, GoLocal compares Gronkowski and Bennett in 2015 and then in their careers.

Bennett and Gronkowski are similar players, both are 6'6" and in their late 20's, however they are coming off of very different seasons.
Gronkowski is coming off a big year with the Patriots in which he played in 15 games, caught 11 touchdowns and had 72 receptions.
Meanwhile, Bennett is coming off an injury plagued year with the Chicago Bears, only playing 11 games and catching 3 touchdowns. He was placed on injured reserve on December 9.

Bennett has been in the NFL for going on 9 seasons and had his best season in 2014, catching 6 touchdown passes and racking up nearly 1,000 yards receiving.
Rob Gronkowski had his best season in 2011 when he caught 17 touchdowns and racked up over 1,000 yards.
Both players have missed significant time due to injury at different points in their career.
