Cookie is a sweet 8-year-old tortie girl with a beautiful soft brindled coat.

Grace

Grace is a gentle, gray and white kitty, 10 years old, who loves head pats, cheek scritches, and being brushed to keep her fur soft and silky. She is friendly and affectionate.

Grace has so much love to give and she hopes that her age won't deter you from making this sweet girl part of your family!

Bertie

Bertie is a very affectionate, handsome Tuxedo male cat who was found as a stray in Waltham and is now off the streets, safe and warm, while he waits to find his forever home.

Bertie loves to be petted and scratched on the neck--he even leans all his weight into your hand! His right ear was clipped as part of a trap/neuter/release program. We like to think of his ruggedly handsome look as "former-stray chic."

Earl

Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more! He is a great companion for someone who likes a cat who is always lounging near by, but not always on your lap. He is affectionate and when he wants your attention he will come to you, but also he takes much content in just being in the room with you. He also enjoys being brushed and the Furminator is his favorite.

Remi

Remius, or Remi for short, loves to snuggle and curl up next to his human friends. Being a curious, young cat between 1 and 2 years old, he will often follow you around the house and sit down to watch what you’re doing. When he is not napping, he can be found playing with his toy mice and cat tree. He also loves getting his beautiful tabby coat brushed.

Snoopster

My name is Snoopster because one of my favorite things to do is "snoop" around! I am a loving, and lovable, five (5) year old boxer/pittie mix, maybe with some sighthound thrown in too! I am ready to be your winter training buddy, and then cuddle on the couch when we're done. I can walk ten miles in the city, and run up 100 steps and still have energy, but when we're not being active the couch is my spot, preferably under the blankets spooning you, and snoring!

Dusty

Say Hello to Dusty! He’s 5 years old and weighs 8 pounds. Dusty found refuge in Rescue after spending some time in a shelter in Western Mass. Initial reports from indicated Dusty was protective of high-value items including his bed. Sometimes environment is a factor and once the circumstances change, the dog’s temperament changes. This appears to be the case with Dusty.

Mason

I’m so happy to meet you! My name is Mason and I am a happy, energetic 6 year old, 68 lb. neutered, goofy and loving male Redbone Coonhound mix. I am content to spend most of my days snoozing on my cot or lounging out in the sun, but I also love nightly back rubs and attention from my humans.

Unfortunately, when I was just a puppy, I had to be rescued from an abusive situation that arose when my first human discovered that even though I look like a hunting dog, I’m not actually very good at sniffing out prey, so I can sometimes be wary around some (but not all) men. But give me a treat and I promise to warm up to you and trust you completely. Even though I can’t smell them, I can see them and I LOVE chasing squirrels and chipmunks in the back yard. I would benefit most from a fenced in backyard since I will not hesitate to charge through an invisible fence. I also love taking walks through the neighborhood and in the woods as long as I’m on a leash. I’m very friendly and want to say hi to everyone we meet. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of something that looks fun to chase when out on a walk, but I am easily redirected and refocused on my walk.

Teddy

Teddy is a 3-4 year old male Pomeranian mix. He weighs about 13 lbs. He came to rescue from a local animal control and is doing great in foster care! Teddy loves his foster mom and begs her for pets. It's never enough! When he was taken in by animal control he was really matted on his back end which caused some inflammation. Due to this (we believe) he has some sensitivity around his back end, though he has an anti-inflammatory injection on board which is helping. We are hoping that time, a healthy diet and some love in his foster home will help him to make progress. He is timid around other dogs, and due to his sensitivity we are going to require an adult only home.

Ulysses

Meet Ulysses, also known as Uly. This 2yr old neutered pit bull weighing in at 60 pounds might just be your dream dog. Uly is people and dog friendly. Although he loves to lounge around on the couch or in bed with his people, Uly also loves to run and play outside. He is house trained and sleeps in a crate throughout the night.
