ArtsWorcester's 18th Biennial 

From 440 submissions, juror Nick Capasso, Director of the Fitchburg Art Museum, selected 71 works for inclusion.

The winner of the Sally Bishop Prize will go on to a solo exhibition at the Worcester Art Museum in 2020.

All ArtsWorcester receptions are free and open to the public.

Kevin James at Hanover Theatre

Kevin James returns to Worcester after a nearly sold-out performance at The Hanover Theatre in 2014.

James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom.

“The King of Queens,” which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS, with James starring and executive producing, and garnered him an Emmy® nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Seduced by revenge and fueled by passion, the two diabolically charming step-siblings place a bet on whether or not Sebastian can deflower their incoming headmaster’s daughter, Annette Hargrove. As the two set out to destroy the innocent girl, and anyone who gets in their way, they find themselves entangled in a web of secrets, temptation and the cruelest game of all... love.

Pottery Invitational at Worcester Center for Crafts 

The Worcester Center for Crafts Pottery Invitational is a nationally recognized, 2½ -day exhibit that brings pottery to the people. Juried by guest curators, Sarah Heimann, and Jerilyn Virden, who represent new and exciting ideas in production pottery, the Invitational provides an opportunity for everyone from pottery aficionados to the casually interested to meet 19 American ceramic artists standing in the gallery next to a display of their work.

Join in for a morning walk in search of Wachusett Meadow's diverse birdlife. We'll look for spring migrants as well as breeding species, and we'll practice identification based on sight and sound.

Especially suitable for backyard birders, and beginner and intermediate birders.

Bring binoculars and field guide, if you have them.
