Beautiful - The Carole King Musical at Hanover Theatre 

Long before she was Carole King, chart-topping music legend, she was Carol Klein, Brooklyn girl with passion and chutzpah.

She fought her way into the record business as a teenager and, by the time she reached her 20s, had the husband of her dreams and a flourishing career writing hits for the biggest acts in rock ‘n’ roll. But it wasn’t until her personal life began to crack that she finally managed to find her true voice.

Sleepy Hollow Experience at Old Sturbridge Village 

This year marks the 200th anniversary of the legend of Sleepy Hollow. Guests are invited to celebrate with the show that has been called "one of the country's top five Halloween plays" by American Theatre Magazine and immerse themselves in the spooky tale.

Arrive early to dine on soups, stew, and chowder in the transformed Ichabod's Tavern, or purchase sweets and libations prior to the show and during intermission. 

The Sleepy Hollow experience opens at 7:30 p.m.

The Harvey Ball at DCU Center 

The 2019 Harvey Ball is celebrating Dale LePage.

The night will feature food stations, a performance by LePage, live and silent auctions and fun for everyone.

All proceeds will benefit the Worcester Historical Museum.

The Worcester Chamber Music Society season opens with a multi-disciplinary celebration of music from the Americas: North, South, and Central. In between comes Jessie Montgomerys exuberantStrum, plus music by Gabriella Lena Frank (featuring visual projections) and Paquito DRivera.

Learn How to Identify Sparrows at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary

What comes to mind when you think of sparrows? If your answer is "little brown birds that look alike and are impossible to identify", then this program is for you.

Participants will discuss how best to approach sparrow identification and review field marks.

Then, participants head outside to search for sparrows in the field and practice the techniques learned in class.
