"Baseball, Brews & BBQ" at Old Sturbridge Village

Old Sturbridge Village is set to host its first ever “Baseball, Brews & BBQ” event for Father’s Day.

Celebrating the history of baseball and brewing, the event will feature live music, games, and activities included in the price of a standard daytime admission ticket.

Beer and BBQ will also be available all day long.

Starting in the Village Common, families will be invited to learn about the history of baseball, then step up to bat as part of a 19th-century baseball game.

The Village will bustle all day with music, as local bands Jeff Warner, Chuck and Mud, and the MudChuckkers, and Members of Full Gael take the stage, playing everything from family favorites to traditional American tunes.

For those 21 and over, more than 10 local breweries will be pouring on-site including Rapscallion, The Boston Beer Company, Wachusett Brewing Company, Shipyard Brewing Co., and more.
