Worcester Symphonic Project Returns on February 14

The Worcester Symphonic Project will return to Mechanics Hall on Sunday, February 14th at 3 p.m.  with a program that will feature music by Beethoven, Schubert and others. 

The music will be played by musicians from not only area middle and high school programs, but also WPI, Holy Cross, Clark University, Assumption College and Worcester State University. 

Bruce Hangen 

The Worcester Symphonic Project welcomes Bruce Hangen as one of the conductors to this year's event. 

Hangen is a faculty member of Boston Conservatory and Conductor of the Orchestra of Indian Hill. 

Hangen was formally the Music Director of the Portland Symphony Orchestra, a principal conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra and a student of both Leonard Bernstein and Seiji Ozawa.
