Zion Pierre Vazquez, 31, is suspected to have committed multiple sexual assaults against a child who was under ten years old over an extended period of time.
Vazquez on Most Wanted List
In 2013, following an investigation by Leominster Police, an arrest warrant charging Vazquez with the rape of a child was issued in Worcester Superior Court.
Upon learning of the investigation, Vazquez fled the area and has been at large since. The State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (MSP VFAS) has been working with Leominster Police to locate Vazquez to bring him to justice.
Vazquez is Hispanic, approximately 5’8” tall and 170 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on both forearms, upper arms, and shoulders and a mole at the corner of his lip.
According to State Police, Vazquez in the past has utilized multiple aliases, which have included several different dates of birth.
He has an extensive criminal record in Massachusetts and also has previous arrests in Illinois. Besides the child rape warrant, Vazquez is the subject of additional outstanding warrants in Massachusetts charging him with failure to provide a DNA sample as required by law and motor vehicle violations.
In addition to Leominster, Vazquez has ties to Fitchburg and other Central Massachusetts areas.
Anyone who sees Vazquez or has information about him is urged to contact MSP VFAS at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873) or to call 911.
