Members from 3 schools of Japanese Flower Arranging will display several arrangements.

Enjoy floral arrangements and demonstrations of the Japanese Ohara, Ikenobo, and Sogetsu Flower Arranging Schools and visit pottery vendors for unique containers and vases.

Sleepy Hollow Experience at Old Sturbridge Village 

This year marks the 200th anniversary of the legend of Sleepy Hollow. Guests are invited to celebrate with the show that has been called "one of the country's top five Halloween plays" by American Theatre Magazine and immerse themselves in the spooky tale.

Arrive early to dine on soups, stew, and chowder in the transformed Ichabod's Tavern, or purchase sweets and libations prior to the show and during intermission. 

The Sleepy Hollow experience opens at 7:30 p.m.

Walk the Streets of Revolutionary Worcester at Salisbury Mansion

The story of the American Revolution in New England and events leading up to it were more than just Boston, Lexington, and Concord.  Worcester played an important role as well. 

Join in for a one-hour walking tour and visit some of the places where revolutionary history was made in Worcester. 

Each tour is limited to the first 12 attendees.

Apple and Agriculture Days at Old Sturbridge Village

Old Sturbridge Village is celebrating the harvest season with Apple and Agriculture Days.

Visit and learn how food makes its way from the farm to the dining room table in 19th century New England life.

Explore the village, take a tour of gardens and root cellars, and meet the oxen as additional guest teams arrive at the village to plow and demonstrate field preparation.

During Apple and Agriculture Days, costumed interpreters will be cooking and demonstrating the fermentation process using the ox-powered Cider Mill on-site.

Gilgamesh at Worcester Art Museum

Storyteller and teacher, Sebastian Lockwood tells the great epics: Gilgamesh, Odysseus, Caesar, Beowulf, and Monkey.

His studies in Classics and Anthropology at Boston University and Cambridge University in the UK laid the foundation for bringing these great tales into performance.

Lockwood's performances are designed to take complex texts and make them accessible and exciting for audiences from 5 to 95.

Lockwood has tutored and taught classes in higher education for 25 years
