25-Year-Old North Brookfield Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Saturday, September 12, 2015

On Friday morning, a 25-year-old man from North Brookfield was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.

Members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) executed a search warrant at the home of Nathan Puckett, of 97 Summer Street, Apartment 3, North Brookfield.

A Worcester Police detective initiatied the investigation months ago after identifying a possible online network. According to the Worcester Police Department, during the execution of the search warrant, investigators located several computers and memory drives. The devices were examined by members of the Massachusetts State Police Computer Crimes Unit. The investigators discovered hundreds of images and videos of child pornography.

Mr. Puckett was interviewed about the material found on his computers and memory drives. He was then placed under arrest and brought to Worcester Police Headquarters.

The ICAC includes Worcester Police Detectives, Massachusetts State Police Computer Crimes Unit, FBI and Homeland Security. The Task Force was created to help Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies enhance their investigative responses to offenders who use the Internet, online communication systems, or computer technology to sexually exploit children.
