50 People to Become US Citizens in Ceremony at Worcester Art Museum

The candidates will be presented during a ceremony on Wednesday, April 4 at the Worcester Art Museum.
The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m.
The 50 citizenship candidates originate from 26 countries including Afghanistan, Albania, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Ghana, Haiti, India, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Mexico, Morocco, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Sierra Leone, St. Vincent-Grenadines, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
The Ceremony
The Honorable David H. Hennessy, U.S. Magistrate Judge, will preside and the Clerk of the Court will administer the Oath of Allegiance.
Matthias Waschek, the C. Jean and Myles McDonough Director of the Worcester Art Museum, and Anita Walker, Executive Director, Massachusetts Cultural Council, will provide welcoming remarks to the new citizens and guests.
The colors will be presented by the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Army ROTC. Special musical selections will be performed by singers from the Bancroft School and usher services will be provided by the Worcester Art Museum Corporators.
