Floyd’s Double-Double Leads Holy Cross to 80-73 Win Over Loyola

The 15 rebounds are a career-high for Floyd and the 20 points are a season high.
Holy Cross improves to 10-4 overall and 1-0 in the Patriot League.
Loyola is now 4-10 on the year and 0-1 in conference.
Holy Cross Holds Off Loyola
The Crusaders led 38-32 with 15:56 to play in the game before going on a 15-4 run to take a 53-36 lead with 11 minutes left.
With seven minutes to play, Holy Cross led 62-47 before the Greyhounds went on an 8-0 run to cut the Crusaders lead to 62-55 in the final minutes.
However, Holy Cross would seal the game at the free throw line, knocking down 11 of 12 shots over the final three minutes to get the win.
The Crusaders shot 51% from the field and 71% from the line in the game, while shooting 44% from three.
Next Up
Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, January 6 when they visit Navy.
Game time is set for 1 p.m.
