Holy Cross Football Shut Out for 1st Time Since 2004, Lose 32-0 to Yale

The Crusaders were shut out for the first time since 2004, when they lost to Harvard 35-0.
"Pretty obvious that Yale is a good football team and we knew that coming in. I made a statement at the beginning of the week and it held out to be true. This might be the best Yale team i’ve seen since 1982," said head coach Tom Gilmore after the game.
Holy Cross drops to 2-5 on the season.
Yale Cruises Past Holy Cross
Yale kicked off the scoring with a 39-yard field goal by Alex Galland on their first offensive possession of the game.
Bulldogs quarterback Kurt Rawlings then hit Michael Siragusa on a five-yard touchdown pass to go up 10-0 after the extra point.
Yale running back Zane Dudek then broke a 21-yard touchdown run to make the score 17-0 halfway through the second quarter.
In the final two minutes of the first half, Yale added a safety and a 33-yard touchdown pass from Rawlings to Siragusa to take a 25-0 lead into the break. T
Yale closed the game with a 22-yard scoring run by Dudek in the third quarter.
Next up
The Crusaders return to action Saturday, October 21 when they host Colgate.
Game time is set for 12 p.m.
