Alta is an 8 yr old declawed male. His family was going thru a divorce and had to find him a new home. Alta is a very sweet boy that has some stress issues, but that shouldn't stop anyone from considering to give him a forever home.

Baby

Baby is very friendly! As soon as you sit down she is on your lap. She is also very vocal and likes to let you know she's there! She is in a house now with another cat, and it seems to be going well as it's only been a week. Baby is FIV positive, which is not a problem as Baby does not need any medications.

Cinder

Hi I'm Cinder, a 5 year old black short haired female, I am a very friendly lady, who was surrendered because my previous owner's grandchild was allergic to me. I will come right up to you and even sit in your lap if you give me a chance, I love head scratches and cuddling.

Johnny

Johnny is an adult male. He was a stray in the Boston area and was picked up by a local TNR rescuer. Johnny is she sweet/silent type. he loves to be petted once he warms up he purrs like a motor boat.

Hi I'm Zero, a one year old medium haired black and white male. My previous owner moved into a house with dogs, and I don't get along with them well at all. However, I do get along well with other cats. I'm a little shy but I warm up quickly when you pet me.

Loki

Loki is a cute little guy who was rescued from the cold streets. Poor Loki was very thin but is putting some meat on his bones now that he's getting regular meals. Loki is a Shih Tzu mix who is about four years old and weighs ten lbs. He has the cutest underbite where his bottom teeth just show.

Edison really is the best. He is new to BTR but has been on a campaign across New England recruiting fans up the coast during his holiday travels. The holidays could be intimidating and overwhelming for any dog new to a home, but not Edison! He is a social butterfly with charm and charisma to win over even the Grinch himself.

Gilligan

Meet Gilligan! He is a Pekingese and Lhasa Apso mix who weighs about 14 lbs. He is estimated to be about 2 or 3 years old. Gilligan came to rescue from a local shelter and feels great after a much needed haircut! He was a very good boy for his haircut, even though we knew that he was in some pain due to the matting he was licking the hand of the groomer. He is such a silly little dog.

I'm Jacob - and I am brand-spanking new to Broken Tail Rescue! I was found as a stray and never reunited with my mom and dad, and now I'm looking for a new family! I'm still getting used to my foster home, so I haven't told them too much about me yet, but I'm coming out of my shell!

Ghost

Meet Ghost! Despite his name he is 100% real and 100% adorable. Ghost is a little guy at 8 lbs and 11 months old, but don't let the short legs fool you. He's very active and loves to play, go for walks, or go for hikes in the woods. His favorite toys are paper towel rolls and acorns, and leaves. Back home after his adventures, Ghost is a lap, bed, or couch cuddler who'll give you kisses.
