Once The Musical at Hanover Theatre

The show Features an ensemble of actor/musicians who play their own instruments onstage, Once tells the enchanting tale of a Dublin street musician who's about to give up on his dream when a beautiful young woman takes a sudden interest in his haunting love songs.

Midwinter Mischief at Old Sturbridge Village

Saturday is the opening day of Old Sturbridge Village's new adventure "Midwinter Mischief." 

"On select weekends in February, small groups of guests will embark every 15 minutes on a one-hour and 45-minute journey through the Village where they will encounter villagers and tradespeople as they learn about the trials and tribulations of winter life in 1830s New England. This new experience combines theatrical storytelling, historical interpretation, and period dining to create an interactive and intimate journey through the Village, and is unlike anything we've done before,” said Darin Johnson, Senior Strategist at Old Sturbridge Village. 

Each day the first tour leaves Bullard Tavern at 9:3 a.m. and the last tour leaves at 3 p.m. Tours run every 15 minutes.

Helmutt on the Move at Worcester Art Museum  

Helmutt is an armor-wearing boar hound statue; his armor is based on the plate dog armor of a hunting hound of Emperor Charles V. Leonard Heinrich, who was the armorer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, made Helmutts armor as a gift to John Woodman Higgins in 1942.

The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
