ACLU of MA’s Robarge & Verma to Host “Know Your Rights” Lecture at Clark

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Academic Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
Robarge & Verma
Robarge is the Central Massachusetts field coordinator for the ACLU of Massachusetts; he focuses on police practices, voting rights, and free speech rights for all. Robarge first became an activist during the battle for marriage equality in 2005.
He was active in the Occupy movement in Worcester, Boston, and throughout New England, and in his role as vice-chair of the Citizen Advisory Council for the City of Worcester, he helped recruit people from under-represented communities onto board and commission seats in city government. He also worked with the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts as a disaster services coordinator.
Verma is a full-time staff attorney at the Committee for Public Counsel Services in the Malden District Court Office. She has been on the Massachusetts ACLU Board of Directors since 2013, and serves as the affiliate rep to the ACLU National Board. Verma is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) Criminal Justice Section Council and serves on the MBA Criminal Justice Reform Task Force. She is also a council member of the Middlesex Bar Association.
