Congressman McGovern to Help Community Servings Serve 100,000th Meal

Congressman Jim McGovern will join Community Servings, a nonprofit that delivers medically-tailored meals to those that are too sick to shop and cook for themselves and their families, to commemorate the delivery for their 100,000th meal to sick neighbor in the City of Worcester.

McGovern is a supporter of the nonprofit and advocate for food security and ending hunger and he will deliver the 100,000th meal in the city of Worcester.

The event will start at McGovern's office allowing for brief remarks and a Q&A opportunity, followed by short trip to a nearby client where the 100,000th meal will be delivered.

Community Servings delivers 500,000 meals each year to critically and chronically ill individuals and families in 20 cities and towns throughout Massachusetts.
