MA State Police Arrest Worcester Man for Possession of Narcotics

Jason Reyes, 39, was charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute and operating with a suspended license.
He was also cited for being in possession of marijuana open container in a motor vehicle.
The Arrest
This past Monday, August 5, at about 10:05 p.m., a motor vehicle stop in Worcester led to the arrest of a Worcester man for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of narcotics.
Trooper Matthew Foley assigned to the State Police- Millbury Barracks was on patrol on Route 146 North near the intersection of Quinsigamond Avenue when he observed a 2009 Subaru Impreza traveling northbound.
A random query of the vehicle revealed the registered owner Reyes of Worcester, had a suspended license for failure to pay child support.
Foley stopped the vehicle and spoke to the operator who was identified as REYES and subsequently placed under arrest.
Further investigation revealed that Reyes was in possession of 14 individually wrapped bags containing a white substance that appeared to be cocaine and 15 individually wrapped bags believed to contain marijuana.
