Worcester Man Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Car on Shrewsbury Street

A Worcester man was seriously injured after being struck by a car while crossing Shrewsbury Street later Saturday night.

Police are searching for the driver of the car.

The Incident

On the night of August 18 at about 10:30 p.m., Worcester Police were sent to the area of 323 Shrewsbury St for a report of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident.

A thirty-three-year-old Worcester man was walking on the sidewalk east on Shrewsbury St.

He attempted to cross the street and was struck by a vehicle. The male sustained serious injuries and the vehicle did not stop. The victim was transported to the hospital.

Police Asking for Help

Investigators are looking to identify the driver of the vehicle.
