Make Your Own Beer Stein at New Street Glass Studio
After learning the safety and studio etiquette rules, students will watch a brief demonstration of this 2000-year-old art before diving in and making their very own beer stein from glass gathered out of a 2100-degree furnace.
Instructors will guide students through the steps from gathering to blowing the bubble, from shaping a cylinder to adding a handle.
The session goes from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Motown at Hanover Theatre
Motown The Musical is the true story of Motown founder Berry Gordys journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson and many more.
The show features classic songs such as My Girl and Aint No Mountain High Enough.
The show begins at 8 p.m.

Wool Days at Old Sturbridge Village
Find out how New Englanders reared sheep for their wool in the 1830s at Old Sturbridge Village's annual sheep shearing festival, Wool Days.
Throughout the weekend, farmers perform sheep shearing, while experts show off the sheep herding skills of border collies. Costumed historians will demonstrate the entire wool textile process, from scouring and carding the wool to spinning, and then knitting the hand-spun wool yarn. Visitors can even try their skill at hand-carding the wool.
Wool Days runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Saturday.

130th Memorial Day Observance Remembrance Ceremony
The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 29 at 9 a.m. at Hope Cemetery.
Following a short procession, a wreath-laying ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Green Hill Park.
