Worcester PD Seek Public’s Help in Search of Suspects Involved in Walgreens Robbery

Worcester police are seeking the public’s help in their search for two men who robbed the Park Avenue Walgreens early last Sunday morning.

According to police, the suspects were last seen on Abbott St as they drove off in a dark colored smaller SUV/Crossover traveling northbound Park Ave from Pleasant Street.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Incident

On Sunday, October 14, at approximately 6:00 a.m. Worcester police were sent to the Walgreens located at 320 Park Avenue for a report of a commercial armed robbery.

Upon arrival officers spoke to an employee working at the pharmacy.

The pharmacist told the officers that one of the male suspects jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at her. The suspect threatened her and demanded that she handover prescription drugs.

The two suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of pills from the pharmacy. After the incident, the suspects were seen on Abbott St as they drove off in a dark colored smaller SUV/Crossover traveling northbound Park Ave from Pleasant Street.

There were no injuries reported.
