Worcester Police in Search of Man Who Robbed Paulino’s Market Armed With Gun

Worcester Police are in search of a man who robbed the Paulino’s Market on Pleasant Street armed with a handgun.

The suspect was described as a white man, approximately 6’2” tall, medium build, beard, wearing glasses, a hooded sweatshirt that was pulled up over his head, and jeans.

The Incident

On Thursday, November 9, at approximately 4:45 PM, Worcester Police responded to 420 Pleasant Street, Paulino’s Market, for a reported armed robbery. Upon the officers arrival they met with store employees.

According to the employees, the suspect entered the store, walked up to the counter and produced a handgun. The suspect pointed the gun in the victim’s direction and demanded cash. The suspect took the cash, placed the weapon back into the front of waistband and walked out the store. The suspect was last seen walking on Pleasant Street, heading towards Winslow Street.

There were no injuries reported.

Several police officers responded to the scene and immediately searched the area. The search eventually provided negative results.

WPD detectives responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and reviewed security footage of the incident. Members of the Crime Scene Unit responded and processed evidence.
