Spencer Man Stabbed Following Fight at the Hotel Vernon

Worcester Police are investigating the stabbing of a 28-year-old Spencer man that occurred on Saturday, June 25 following a fight at the Hotel Vernon.
The victim was stabbed by an unknown male.
The Incident
On Saturday, June 25 at approximately 2:30 a.m. , Worcester police detectives were called to a local emergency room for a report of a stabbing victim.
His injuries are considered non-life threatening and the male did not cooperate with investigators.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the victim engaged in an altercation between a group of males earlier int he evening at the Hotel Vernon. When the victim was walking to his vehicle on Lamartine Street, the group approached him again and a fight broke out.

The investigation is ongoing.
