A great summer weekend of events in Worcester with things that will keep people of all ages entertained.  

Things to do include a Revolutionary War Reenactment at Old Sturbridge Village, live music and much more.

Redcoats and Rebels at Old Sturbridge Village 

Old Sturbridge Village is hosting their Revolutionary War Reenactment Redcoats and Rebels this weekend. 

Weekend highlights include mock battles and skirmishes between the Colonial and British troops and their allies.

Soldiers on horseback return, and mounted troops from the Second Regiment Light Dragoons will demonstrate cavalry sword work and drill maneuvers.

Visitors can also witness cannon and musket demonstrations, visit the field hospital, enjoy fife and drum music, and experience daily life for soldiers in battle and encampment.

Contact + Connect Exhibit Closing Reception 

The final day of the Contact and Connect exhibit at the Sprinkler Factory is on Sunday. 

This exhibition is a celebration of our greater creative community.

Featured artists include , and shakers from our neighboring city of Providence, RI. We are honored to have the works of John Buron, Susan Clausen, Linda Ford, Richard Goulis, Umberto Crenca, Alyssa Coffin, Melinda Goodhue, and J-Me Johnston. 

The exhibit is open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
