Friday Farmers Market at Worcester Common 

The Friday Farmer's Market at Worcester Common is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Items include Stillman Quality Meats, LLC-Meat & poultry, eggs, meat pies, stock, and sauce, bone broth, and cut flowers, Douglas Orchard & Farm-produce, fruit, honey, creamed honey, eggs, beeswax candles, artisan soaps, honey sticks and gifts.

Cabinet Making in Early 19th Century New England at Old Sturbridge Village

The exhibition examines the tools, products, and livelihoods of rural cabinetmakers in the early 19th century. Visitors will gain a deeper insight into how these objects were designed, fashioned, and used in the period, and how they inform our understanding of modern-day craftsmanship. 

The exhibition illustrates the wide range of objects shaped by the hands of rural cabinetmakers including clock cases, sofas, sideboards, and coffins.

The event goes from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

YSP Teen presents Guys and Dolls at Hanover Theatre 

"Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, and Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown, as a result." 

Saturday show times are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Helmutt on the Move at Worcester Art Museum  

Helmutt is an armor-wearing boar hound statue; his armor is based on the plate dog armor of a hunting hound of Emperor Charles V. Leonard Heinrich, who was the armorer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, made Helmutts armor as a gift to John Woodman Higgins in 1942.

The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The tour begins at Master Plan in the Morgan Reception Gateway and goes through the entire garden.
