Man Charged With Manslaughter Following Death of Worcester Robbery Victim

A man was indicted on manslaughter charges in connection to a robbery that took place in Worcester in May of 2017, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.

Samson Beauregard, 44, was indicted on manslaughter and unarmed robbery charges in the death of 40-year-old Dai Ha.

Ha was the victim of a robbery and an assault on May 15, 2017, that occurred on Mount Pleasant Street in Worcester.

Five days later, Ha died as a result of his injuries.

Beauregard is currently being held without bail at the Essex County House of Correction on an unrelated probation matter.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on Jan. 4, 2018.
