Three Men Arrested for Oxycodone Distribution in Worcester

The men, Luke Deptula, Daniel Deptula and Brian Murphy were all arrested as part of an investigation and will be arraigned on Monday, May 14 in Worcester District Court.
The Incident
During the course of several months, members of the Worcester Police Vice squad, the Worcester DEA Tactical Diversion Squad and members of the Massachusetts State Police were working jointly on an extensive drug investigation involving a distribution organization within the city and surrounding towns.
During the course of this investigation surveillance was conducted and information gathered with regard to the target of the operation, Luke Deptula. Deptula was identified as a person involved in the sale and distribution of Oxycodone.
During the past several weeks, the officers, agents and troopers observed several incidents where there were Oxycodone drug transactions.
On Friday, May 11, 2018, as a result of the investigation, officers, agents and troopers located and arrested Deptula, 33, of 112 Santoro Road and Daniel Deptula, 35, of 112 Santoro Road, in Northborough at the Motel 6.
Luke Deptula was charged with 3 counts of Distribution of Class B Substance while Daniel Deptula was charged with one Count of Distribution of Class B substance.
In addition, the officers and agents and troopers executed a search warrant for 253 St. Nicholas Avenue, the home of 57-year-old Brian Murphy. On Friday, the warrant was executed at 8:50 PM. Inside the home was Murphy. Murphy was in possession of 15 Oxycodone pills and $280.00 in cash. Murphy was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute.
All three men will be arraigned at the Worcester District Courthouse on Monday, May 14, 2018.
