Worcester Police Investigating Shooting on Suffield Street
Monday, April 30, 2018
The shooting resulted in a non-life threatening injury to a 22-year-old man.
The Incident
On April 29, at about 6:30 p.m., Worcester Police were sent to the area of Suffield St for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a 22-year-old shooting victim outside a residence.
The man was treated by paramedics for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Officers spoke with witnesses and performed a neighborhood canvas. Detectives believe that a dark-colored sedan drove down Suffield St, and someone in the car fired a handgun at the victim before the car sped off. The shooting is currently under investigation.
