Fiddle Jam for the New Year at Pakachoag Music School

The Pakachoag Music School Fiddle Bands host an Open Mic Fiddle Jam for the New Year.  Anyone who likes playing the violin or enjoys fiddle music is welcome. 

Pakachoag faculty members and fiddlers  Amy Matherly and Marilyn Butler will host, along with Pakachoag student fiddlers, in Vinton Hall at our Worcester Central home. The evening will begin with an Open Mic, which will include a performance by the Rosewood Duo. Come with something to play or just listen.

Worcester Children's Chorus Mid-Season Auditions at Assumption College

The Worcester Children's Chorus is offering mid-season placement for boys and girls ages 8 - 18 in one of its five choral ensembles.

The mission of the Worcester Children’s Chorus is to enrich the lives of children throughout Worcester County by providing a quality musical experience through training in choral singing.

Dinner in a Country Village at Old Sturbridge Village 

Enjoy a unique opportunity to cook and enjoy an early 19th-century meal in one of our historic homes. 

Taking place in the Richardson Parsonage, participants will work with costumed historians to create a full dinner based on period receipts. Participants will help bake pies and rolls in a wood-fired brick oven, chop and prepare vegetables over an open fire, roast meat in a tin rotisserie, mull cider with an iron and much more.

Worcester Railers vs Jacksonville Ice Men at DCU Center 

After a two-game road trip, the Worcester Railers are back at the DCU Center on Sunday to host the Jacksonville Ice Men.

The Railers are currently 10-19 on the season, while the Ice Men are 9-16 overall.

Game time is set for 3 p.m.
