Holy Cross Falls to BU 83-68 in Season Finale

Robert Champion led Holy Cross

The Holy Cross Crusaders (10-19, 5-13 PL)  fell 83-68 to the (18-13, 11-7 PL) Boston University Terriers on Saturday afternoon in Boston. The Crusaders end the regular season having lost 7 of their last 8 games. 

The Crusaders trailed 49-43 with 13:28 left to play in the game before the Terriers went on a 9-2 run to go up 58-45 and take control of the game. 

Holy Cross did not get closer than 9 points the rest of the way. 

The Crusaders trailed 34-27 at the half. 

The Leaders 

Robert Champion led Holy Cross with 14 and 7 rebounds while Karl Charles finished with 13 points in the game. 

Tournament Time 

The Crusaders kick off the Patriot League tournament on Tuesday, March 1 when they visit Loyola for their first round game. 

Holy Cross lost both games to Loyola this season.
