9 People Robbed Inside Worcester Apartment

Nine people inside an apartment on Endicott Street were robbed early Monday morning by two men who were armed with a handgun and a shotgun. They took an undisclosed amount of cash and left before the police got there. 

The suspects were described as one white man and the other a black man, both wearing all black clothing. They had their faces covered.

The investigation is still ongoing. 

The Incident 

On Monday, August 29, 2016 at approximately 2:42 AM, Worcester Police responded to a reported home invasion at an Endicott Street apartment. Upon the officers arrival they met with multiple family members that were in the apartment. 

Officers were told that two men had entered the apartment armed with a handgun and a shotgun at the end of a family card game. One of the family members was leaving for the night and when he opened the door to leave, the two suspects entered the apartment.

Once inside, one of the suspects struck a 53-year-old man in the head with the handle of the shotgun. The victim received a laceration to the head. The suspects then ordered the group of approximately 9 people to the floor and to hand over their money. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the apartment before the police arrived. 

The search for the suspects had negative results. The suspects were described as one white man and the other a black man, both wearing all black clothing. They had their faces covered.
