Man Stabbed Multiple Times During Fight in Worcester

The victim, 21, was in the area to meet a woman who he arranged the meeting with over text message.
Investigators are working on identifying the suspects.
The suspect that punched the victim was described as a Hispanic man, approximately 35-years-old, 5’10”, medium build, short hair and a beard. The victim could not identify the suspect that stabbed him.
The Incident
On Monday, February 27, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Worcester Police responded to 500 Grafton Street, The CVS Pharmacy, for a report of a stabbing incident. Upon the officers arrival they located a 21-year-old man inside the business suffering from several stab wounds. He was conscious and alert.
Officers at the scene had conversation with the victim prior to the arrival of Worcester EMS. According to the victim, he was stabbed outside in the area of 270 Sunderland Road while fighting with two men. After the stabbing the victim drove himself to CVS.
The victim said that he went to Sunderland Road to meet with a woman. The victim had agreed to meet the woman via text messaging. When the suspect arrived at the agreed upon location he was approached by two men. As the men approached his car one of them accused him of trying to pick up his girlfriend. One man opened the driver’s door and began to punch him in the face while the second man opened the passenger door and began to stab him. After the attack the two suspects fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was not robbed.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The wounds that he received are not considered life threatening.
