Multiple Gunshots Fired Near Kilby and Hollis Streets in Worcester

Multiple gunshots were fired in the area of Kilby and Hollis streets on Wednesday afternoon. 

There were no reported victims. 

This investigation is in the early stages with minimal suspect information.

The Incident 

On Wednesday, March 22, at approximately 3:17 p.m., Worcester Police responded to the area of Kilby Street and Hollis Street for reported gunshots. Upon the officers arrival they spoke with witnesses. The witnesses provided the officers with a basic description of the suspect car.

 The suspect car was seen leaving the area after the shots rang out. Officers were told that there were three men inside it. It appeared that one man sitting in the rear seat got out and fired the shots. He got back into the car which was last seen heading south on Kilby Street towards Hollis Street.

The car is described as a light colored small foreign model.

Members of the WPD Crime Scene Unit arrived and collected ballistic evidence. WPD detectives arrived and canvassed the area for additional witnesses.

 There were no reported victims from the hospitals nor were there any injuries reported at the scene. An immediate search for property damage provided negative results.
